Mannequin (1987)

When shy young Jonathan sculpted his mannequin masterpiece, he gave her all the attributes of the girl of his dreams.  But even Jonathan's wildest dreams couldn't prepare him for what happens when his store-window fantasy becomes a living breathing, totally enchanting young lady!

Andrew McCarthy (Pretty In Pink) stars as a down-and-out artist who creates, and falls in love with, a department store mannequin who comes very much to life as the vivacious Emmy (Kim Cattrall of Police Academy, Big Trouble In Little China).  But soon both Jonathan and his statuesque lady find themselves caught in the crossfire between two battling store owners.  And the bad guys will go to any length, even mannequin napping, to take advantage of Jonathan's almost magical artistic talents!  It's a wildly outrageous romantic fantasy in the hilarious tradition of Splash!

VHS Grading

All VHS tapes are tested on a fairly standard VCR a Sony SLV-N700. If we encounter any issues we run the tape through a second test on the much higher end Samsung SV-5000W to determine if the issue is resolved. Some lower end VCR's have difficulty playing certain tapes, higher end players with a more sophisticated auto tracking can typically resolve many issues unless there is some major problem with the tape. Any issues we come across will be noted in the description.

We used high quality mailers, two to three cardboard stiffners and if the album you are buying is used it is shipped outside the cover to prevent damage to the seams in transit. When it comes to shipping LaserDiscs we don't always ship outside the cover as in transit seam wear is not as common. If you want your discs shipped outside the cover feel free to note that at checkout in the message box.
