In Curse Of The Dog God a group of young scientists venture into the countryside to investigate a source of uranium near a sacred mountain. Along the way, their careless actions result in destruction of a shrine and the death of a local boy's dog. Enraged, the boy puts a curse on them, leading to a series of strange and terrifying events, including the possession of one of the scientists' new bride. Directed by Shunya Ito, creator of the popular Female Prisoner Scorpion series, this early Japanese film explores occult themes and is full of bizarre and shocking moments.
