Deep Throat (1970's) - Italian 2F - Rare Linda Lovelace Enjoying A Popsicle

View More From: Linda Lovelace

$ 85.00

This rare 2F Italian poster for the 1970s film Deep Throat puts Linda Lovelace in the spotlight! Enjoy the cheeky fun of seeing her saucily enjoy a popsicle while the title of the film strategically appears - with some delicious results! This is the perfect piece for any fan of this classic film.

The film was released in Italy on two separate occasions, October 1976 and May 1979.  The poster itself is undated so it could be for either one of these releases.

It is worth noting there are some who believe this poster is actually for a completely different film entitled French Deep Throat, presumably a French knockoff of the original that was released in 1977.  Credits on IMDb for that film show Harry Reems but do not include Linda Lovelace (another actress is in her role) and it was not directed by Gerard Damiano.  We don't know how much weight to put on this particular claim, it seems a little far fetched to have a poster that is clearly advertising the original Deep Throat film with the exact cast and director but actually be for the release of a French film with a different title and cast.  We believe this to be for one of the Italian releases of the original film, but felt it necessary to note there are some alternate opinions.
