Moon Zero Two (1969) British B-Style Quad - Tom Chantrell Pop Art

View More From: Hammer Films

$ 1,500.00

Moon Zero Two was Hammer Films bold attempt to take the inspiration of Stanley Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey and try and create the first "space western".  Needless to say it was a huge failure for them but has since become a cult classic among Hammer fans.

Due to the films limited success the number of posters printed were very limited.  The artist, the famous Tom Chantrell who drew many British film posters, created two versions, a normal version and this pop art cartoon style which is referred to as the B-Style.  This particular B-Style is the rarest among them, and is typically seen with an "ABC" overprinting sniped on the top or bottom.  So a clean unadulterated version is even rarer.

Printed: UK, 1969

Approximate Dimensions: 40" x 30"

Condition: Excellent - Two light vertical fold lines, some minor fold line tearing at the bottom of the first horizontal fold.
