Released in Italy in 1972 under the title Non si sevizia un paperino, Don't Torture A Duckling is among the popular films in Italian Giallo cinema. Directed by Lucio Fulci and starring Barbara Bouchet and Florinda Bolkan.
This is an original soggetto for the film, and features an absolutely stunning and classic image on Barbara Bouchet draped in a very shear black gown. For Barbara Bouchet fans its one of the "holy grails" of posters, ranking among the best that her image has been featured on. A soggetto is somewhat comparable to a US 1-sheet in size, they were packaged with fotobustas (Italy's version of lobby cards) and printed in extremely small quantities compared to their traditional film posters.
Printed: Italy, 1972
Approximate Dimensions: 26 1/2" x 38 1/2"
Condition: Good - moderate amount of wear along the edges, fold lines and corners. A few pin holes, a couple pieces of tape. Couple minor tears in the corner sections. To the left of the verticle fold line there is some light crinkling that is hard to capture on camera, that runs parrellel to the middle fold line. Overall this poster has quite a bit of issues and shows it a little more due to the glossy paper these posters were produced on. If framed behind some glare free plexi most of the issues would not be as noticeable.
